JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing protection to school children at school crossings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledgeable of traffic laws pertaining to school crossings.
Available Monday – Friday 7:15 – 8:45 a.m. and 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Halting traffic by utilizing a hand held stop sign. Escorting children safely across roads and streets; Signaling traffic to continue once children are safely across streets; Reporting to the Police Department any safety hazard violations by providing license plate numbers.
