The Detention Services Division is responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all prisoners and/or detainees held at the Bedford Detention Facility. The Bedford Detention Facility also houses Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainees.

How can I find out if someone is in the Bedford Jail?

What are the jail hours?

24 hours a day, 7 days a week

When are visitation hours?

10:00 a.m. - noon

6:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m.

​Note: Visitation times are daily.  However, they may be restricted at any time due to manpower or other issues within the Detention Facility

Can an inmate make phone calls?

Yes, once the booking process is complete, the inmate will then be given the chance to make one free phone call.

The inmate also has the opportunity to make collect phone calls from the cell.
